The conflict between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over their winery hasn’t ended.
Pitt sued Jolie in February for what he claimed was the “illegal” sale of her part in Château Miraval, a country estate and winery in the south of France acquired by the pair in 2008.
Jolie accused her ex-husband Brad Pitt of “waging a vengeful battle against her” and “hijacking” control of the wealthy winery business they once owned.
Pitt’s lawsuit claims that Pitt and Jolie will spend the holidays at the home where they were wed in 2014. In September 2016, Jolie filed for divorce from Brad as a result of an argument on a private jet that the FBI started looking into.
Following this, according to Jolie’s lawsuit, which was brought on behalf of her former business, Nouvel LLC, Pitt “and his allies” engaged in “illegal and malicious actions” with the goal of “hurting” Jolie and Nouvel “by devaluing its investments and denying it its proper role in the management of Chateau Miraval, the renowned producer of rosé wine.”
Jolie is seeking compensatory damages of at least $250 million.
